Cleveland and Cousins

Angela here!  Hope everyone has had a great start to the new year!  Our New Years Eve was mellow and low key, as we headed to Cleveland the next day to see the Wilson crew.  Hudson was so so excited to see his cousins, mainly Hannah, let's be honest.  Hudson ADORES Hannah!  Whatever Hannah is doing is obviously cool and exciting.  He followed her around like a little puppy and it was adorable to watch.  Hannah graciously accepted the task of being in charge of the little kids.  She kept the boys in line and also took sweet care of baby Adley.

We had our third round of Christmas and the kiddos got spoiled again.  Hudson and cousin Nate got T-Rex's that came with a jeep that launched rockets and carried the dino around.  Hudson continues to make his dinosaur eat breakfast with him every morning.

The next day we woke up and headed to the Cleveland Museum of National History.  There was a special dinosaur exhibit that fit in appropriately with the new toys the boys received.  Hudson enjoyed it so much that he actually skipped a nap that day...his first skip ever!  He had a slight meltdown around 3 pm, but Hannah quickly perked him up for the rest of the day.

When Hudson isn't having a 2 year old toddler meltdown, he is the sweetest little boy ever.  He gives endless hugs and kisses and he never forgets to ask: " Is mama ok?"  And he always reminds me that: "Daddy be loud."  One night this week, Chris was coming home late and Hud was concerned.  He didn't want his daddy to miss out on anything.  So we had to take pictures of him enjoying his bubble bath...

And every night we have to tuck all his animals in bed...Lambie, Cowie, Hooter, George, Sofie, Devin, Mac, Trooper and D-Boy.  And yes, Chris "helped" him name them all.

And Miss Adley is about to hit the 5 month mark!  She's giggling all the time and has this cute belly laugh that only comes out when Hudson is being a goof-ball.  She's more alert and she loves touching the face of whoever is holding her.  Below are pictures of her in my baby outfits when I was little.  Wow have clothes changed in the past few decades!  The jumper is hand-knitted and there were a ton a buttons and drawstrings dangling everywhere.  It took forever to put it on her, but she did look cute!

And she had to rock a Cincinnati Bengals outfit this weekend as well.  Yes, we're all still die-hard New England Patriot fans, but there's nothing wrong with a girl needing to have multiple outfit changes during football season.

We also celebrated cousin Anderson's 4th Birthday!  It was a superhero party so all the kids got to dress up and wear costumes.  The boys had no problem flexing their muscles, running around like madmen and having a blast.  Albeit exhausting, it was cute to watch.

Claire and Adley are always on a mission to find the best seat in the house, and it always happens to be Lolly's lap.

Hope everyone has a great week!
